What to do about dark circles?

I have really bad dark circles under my eyes. Mine are hereditary so it seems no mater how much rest i get it doesnt help. Ive tried several creams that said they would diminish circles but i barely saw a difference. Is there some kind of procedure or awesome product to help with dark circles?
