With the cost of living climbing; isn't it time for card check?

Employee free choice Act makes it easy for workers to unionize. It is as simple as 1,2,3 and very hard for employers to derail. This way workers can negotiate wage increases in line with the increased cost of living by way of collective bargaining. Is there any other system besides unions that would help wages catch up with inflation?
