Will I.U.I really work or am I just wasting my time?

Hi. I have been TTC for just over 1.5 years. I recently found out I have PCOS. I have done 3 cycles of IUI with medications( Comid and Gonal F) none worked. We are now saving our money for IVF. With IUI there is a 25% chance of pregnancy with IVF there is a 60% chance of pregnancy, give or take a little due to individual cirumstances. However, I had a friend who got pregnant on her 1st IUI and another friend who got pregnant on her 9th IUI, but most Dr's recommend you only do 3-4 cycles of IUI. Sending baby dust your way :)
