How do I transfer ownership of a business?

I recently started an LLC with a friend of mine in Maryland and and now he doesn't want to do it anymore. The company is about a month old and it has no ets, liabilities, and neither of us have contributed any money to it. It was agreed we would each have a 50% stake and he says he is fine with giving his 50% stake in the company to me but I was wondering how I would go about doing this to make it official. Thanks
