Sainted or Tainted?

My son was attacked at a cash machine...a couple stopped their car and the man got out holding his mobile phone.. the attackers made a run for it....they saved my son and took him to hospital....the lady said they were kicking him so hard he looked like a rag doll.......but i always regret not getting their address to go meet them...however i did phone to show my gratitude...but that wasn't enough
